Erkan Soydan
CEng MCIBSE, MSoVT, MSoE
Fifteen years of VT experience across the UK, UAE, KSA, and Türkiye, with direct senior involvement on every project. Erkan is a CIBSE Lift Group Committee Member and SoVT MENA Representative.

Erkan Soydan is a Chartered Engineer and Vertical Transportation specialist with over 15 years of experience delivering projects across the UK, UAE, KSA, and Türkiye. As Managing Director of Soydan VT Consultancy, he provides independent, senior-led advice on VT strategy, traffic planning, system design, and multidisciplinary coordination.

With a background in mechanical engineering and a Master’s in Building Information Management, Erkan is known for translating complex project requirements into clear, buildable, and commercially sound VT solutions. He works directly on every project, helping clients reduce design risk, improve coordination, and make better decisions from concept through to delivery.
